The 2008 SIWN
Congress aims to provide a distinctive premier international forum for active researchers, developers, professionals
and academics from different domains and with
diversified backgrounds to get together, to share
state-of-the-art research achievements and practical
experiences, to exchange in-depth findings and innovative ideas, and in
particular to harness the greatest challenges and think seriously into
the future.
SIWN 2008 comprises an exciting spectrum of

Call for Contributions
SIWN 2008 will only consider manuscripts of
original contributions. A manuscript submitted should
neither have been published nor have been under review for publication
elsewhere.
All manuscripts submitted will be sent to
3-4 members of the International Program Committees of the Conferences
for peer reviews, on which recommendation for acceptance will be based.
SIWN 2008 welcomes Workshops and Tutorials on
new emerging areas. Please discuss Workshop/Tutorial proposals with the
Chairs.

the same paper to multiple Conferences is NOT allowed, which will
automatically disqualify all submissions of the author. If you

Accepted and registered papers of the
Conferences will be published in the international journal:
<<Communications
of SIWN>> (ISSN
1757-4439) in print and/or CD-ROM versions which are available for all
participants at the Conferences. No-show paper is
subject to a no-show charge so as for the journal to be posted to the
author. Member
of IEEE, RADS is eligible for a discount to the registration.
A manuscript for submission to the
Conference should be prepared according to the
Instructions for Authors of
the Journal. Sample

There is a page limitation upon CRV of accepted
papers, i.e., 5 formatted pages. Over-length charge
is applicable for
up to two additional pages.
Student Financial Assistance and Best Student Paper Awards
SIWN 2008 provides
financial assistance for students who will otherwise be disadvantaged in
exchanging their research work. Student author who wishes
to apply for financial assistance should e-mail
separately to the Secretariat < secretariat@siwn.org.uk

Form while making their submission online.
Each Conference will select one or two best student papers and the award will be presented during the Conference. The
selection of best
student
papers
will be conducted by the
Best Student Paper Selection Panel that may comprise the Program Chairs of the Conferences
and members of the Advisory Board. The Panel may reserve not to recommend any award if it is not satisfied with
the quality of the candidate paper. Student
author who wishes
their paper to
be considered in the best
student
paper award competition should
e-mail
separately to the
Awards
Chair
a
completed Expression of
Interest for
Best Student Paper Competition
while making their
submission online.
