2008 Sinoeuropean
Engineering Research Forum (SERF 2008)
Under the Auspices of The Sinoeuropean Academy of
Engineering Research
2008 Sinoeuropean Engineering
Research Forum (SERF 2008) aims to provide a
distinctive world-class premier forum for active
researchers, engineers, professionals and academics
from all disciplines of
engineering to get together, to share state-of-the-art
research achievements and practical experiences, to exchange in-depth findings
and innovative ideas, and in particular to harness the greatest challenges and
think seriously into the future.
Researchers, engineers,
professionals and academics all over the world are cordially welcomed to
contribute towards and participate in the Forum. The program of the Forum will
comprise technical presentations, keynote talks and panel discussions on a
selection of topics of high-level scientific importance and significant societal
impacts.
Call for Contributions
SERF 2008 will only consider
manuscripts of original contributions. A manuscript submitted should neither
have been published nor have been under review for publication elsewhere.

Submission and Publication
A manuscript for submission to
the Forum should be prepared according to the Instructions for Authors of
<<Sinoeuropean Engineering Research Forum>>
Journal. Sample Word Doc and Latex file of Camera-Ready Versions (CRV) are
available on http://thesaer.eu/serf/ There is a
page limitation upon CRV of accepted papers, i.e., 5 formatted pages.
Over-length charge is
applicable for up to two additional pages.
Submission
in PDF file may be sent by e-mail to the Secretariat <
saer@thesaer.eu
> by e-mail attachment. Please indicate on the title page of
the paper the Discipline which the paper is pertinent to.
Accepted papers of
the Forum will be published in the <<Sinoeuropean Engineering Research
Forum>> Journal
(ISSN
1757-4307 (Print)) which are available by the time of the Forum,
provided that the publication
charge is paid (presentation of the paper by the author at the Forum is highly
encouraged but is not prerequisite for inclusion of papers in the Journal).

If you need a formal invoice to complete your
registration payment, please first e-mail the secretariat your registration form
for the invoice to be issued correctly.
If you prefer to send your

331 3690. Please include a cover page in your fax clearly showing the following
texts:

Only

CRV
must be prepared according to the Instructions for Authors of the
SERF Journal available on

Author should
provide the following electronic files of CRV, named by the Article Index and
packed in a compressed file (or placed on a URL for temporary bespoken access):

(i)
the
Word Doc (97 version) of the article (or the latex source files), with figures
and tables properly embedded amidst the text;
(ii)
a PDF file that is
generated from (i), with all fonts. Texts must be preserved in the PDF. PDF
printed as image is unacceptable;
(iii)
separate PDF files of high-resolution, high-quality graphic files of all figures
and tables, one PDF file per figure or table, named as fig01, fig02a, fig02b …
The PDF file of each figure should be scaled to full paper size, with figure’s
captions being excluded/deleted and any blank edges all around being trimmed
off;
(iv)
plain
text file of title, authors, abstract and keywords; and
(v)
scanned copy of signed
copyright form
