2019 International Workshop on IoT Big Data and Blockchain (IoTBB’2019)
A Workshop at 2019 IEEE International Conference on Big Data (IEEE Big Data 2019) December 9-12, 2019, Los Angeles, CA, USA
With support from the Technical Committee on Cyber- Physical Cloud Systems of IEEE Systems, Man, and Cybernetics Society
Introduction
The Internet of Things (IoT) is the network of devices such as vehicles, industrial machines, environmental facilities, and home appliances that contain software, sensors, actuators, and connectivity which allows these things to connect, interact and exchange data.
Form a computing point of view, one of the IoT challenges is the overwhelming amount of real-time stream data from IoT. IoT Big Data requires new frameworks and new approaches in tackling the IoT data deluge.
This Workshop will focus on the latest developments from both academia and industry, with a particular emphasis on cutting-edge techniques and challenges to capture, store, process and protect the IoT big-data which can be applied to process, analyze and protect the IoT data in real-world applications.
This workshop provides a timely forum for researchers, academics, practitioners and policy-makers in IoT Big Data processing and analytics, machine learning, data protection. The workshop aims to share knowledge and deep thoughts that will help shape the future directions of real-time stream data challenges, and will bring forth a lively forum on this exciting and challenging area of IoT Big Data and Blockchain at the Conference.
