How to get to the hotel

ICABS 2007 / CODS 2007 will be based in Chengdu Pearl International Hotel  成都明珠国际酒店. This is a 3-star hotel, located in the very downtown of Chengdu.

As our Conferences are very soon, please complete the Hotel Room Request Form and e-mail it to Local Arrangement Chair with no delay. You do not have to contact the hotel directly for room reservation. Summer is tourist peek time; especially Chengdu has been awarded the Best Tourism City in China by the National Tourism Bureau and The World Tourism Organization (WTO) last February this year.

If you prefer more luxury hotels, here are two, which are about 15 minutes (ca. RMB 15) by tax or 20 minutes by bus,  to the conference venue:

            Minshan Hotel (4-star): http://www.minshan.com.cn/

            Jinjiang Hotel (5-star): http://www.jjhotel.com/

You may yourself contact these hotels directly or ask Local Arrangement Chair to help with room reservation.

International flights

If you need assistance in booking connecting flights between Beijing/Shanghai/Guangzhou (where there are many more daily international flights) to Chengdu, Local Arrangement Chair will assist booking electronic tickets of flights. Please e-mail him.

You may find which airlines fly from your local city to Chengdu by simply checking online flights, (e.g., www.expedia.com  but we have no particular recomendation on this or any others).
