Instructions to Authors

Submission of Manuscript

Submission of manuscript may be sent to the Editor of the Journal by e-mail. Even as early as at the time of submission, it is advised a paper is prepared according to the format of Camera-Ready Version.

Preparation of Camera-Ready Version (CRV)

The Instructions for Authors should be followed accurately and completely. It contains two parts:

Part 1 is about Organizational and Presentational Styles of a research paper; and

Part 2 is about the Specifications of Camera-Ready Version (CRV).

Word Doc Template of Camera-Ready Version

The Instruction for Authors itself is a Word template. It will be physically true to the specifications of CRV only if this exemplar is printed on Executive-size paper by a scaling of 100%).

Sample Tex file of Camera-Ready Version

Note that while the page layout settings specify the title page has top margin = 2.5 cm with two 14-point blank lines preceding the title, this sample Latex file has actually set the title page to have top margin = 3.5cm, which is equivalent to 2.5 cm plus two 14-point blank lines.

Open Access Publication Charges

After an article has been accepted based on its scientific merit and technical quality, author will be requested to pay the article-processing charge for the article to be published. Detailed information will be sent to author along with the galley proof.

To avoid confusions, before an article has been formally accepted (by the way of the acceptance letter solely issued by the Editor-in-Chief), authors should not make any payments for open access publication charge and we are in no way committed to publishing any manuscripts unaccepted.

SIWN Press adopts the common waiver policy as in the normal practice recognized in open access publishing, e.g., Springer Open Access Waiver. Payments for open access publication charge can be made online as follows.

Open Access Publication Charges

To make one payment for multiple items (e.g., base charge and overlength page charges), press button "Continue shopping" after pressing button "Add to Cart" until all items are selected, then go to check-out. Overlength page charges are applicable to the eleventh page and subsequent pages of the galley-proof version. If there is any query or problem, please contact  editorial@siwn.org.uk
